The Examiner ran an article on the District B race. I don’t know about you but I am liking the daily coverage on Harford County. I could do without the ads but it gives us an option. Check the article out here.

Is Chenowith serious about agricultural preservation as a priority? What a joke! She has been a sell out to the developers since day 1. Does she think we are stupid? She and Rob Wagner need to get a retirement home together in Florida and hang it up.

I noticed Brian Young’s website is not linked here. It is http://www.votebyoung.com
I am not associated with his campaign, but I met him at a county council meeting, and he seems like a really good guy.

I was asked to list my top three initiatives for the Baltimore Examiner’s April 11 article, “District B Candidates Focus on Planning and Education.†Please allow me to expand on what was printed.
BRAC
I am the best qualified candidate to serve the people of District B and lead us through the challenges and opportunities BRAC will bring to Harford County.
My professional experience and college education are centered on strategic planning, communications, and management – specific to state and federal employment, including active duty military service in the United States Air Force.
No one will work harder than me for the people of Abingdon AND Fallston.
TEACHERS
Our teachers are better than 15th best in the state. It’s time their salaries prove it.
Cecil County teacher salaries outpace Harford salaries by an average of $1,022 at the core professional experience levels our children need to become successful college graduates.
Harford teacher salaries are $2,157 less than the statewide average at the same levels.
It’s time our teachers have someone from District B they can depend on.
You can depend on me every year I’m in office.
SENIOR CITIZENS
QUESTION:
What has current District B representation done to keep down rapidly increasing health care costs, prescription co-pays, utility bills, and gas prices?
ANSWER:
Carelessly splattered development all over Harford County causing assessment taxes to increase out-of-control
• We need a strategic plan.
• We need less traffic, more schools, and safer water.
• We cannot abandon senior citizens in the process.
• I will get the job without raising your taxes.
Politics as usual is outdated. It’s time for a change.
Vote September 12th
Elect
KEVIN KANE
Harford County Council
District B
* Accountable Republican Leadership *
* Distinguished Military Veteran *
* Dedicated Parent and Community Volunteer *

I talked to Kevin right before he posted this in an E-mail. He told me the same things that he says here. He has one story and sticks to it. I respect that. I think he is everything he says he is. Roni will be tough to beat. She is everywhere. I mean that. She says she protects rural lands but really does the opposite. I can’t even tell you how many houses she let spread all over Fallston. It sickens me. I bought my house when Kane was in Kindergarten (and helped RR get elected in MD). She says she is for schools, but really has not done anything on her own to prove that. I would vote for Kane, but I’m scared about Twanmoh. Can Kane beat her?Kevin told me he thinks Twanmoh has a better chance at beating Roni than she does him. What do you think? I think Kane is the best candidate and I don’t care that he’s from Abingdon. I think he would do a good job. Do you know his budget?

GODS OLE PARTY,
I think Kevin is the real deal. I think he will beat Roni and Twanmoh. Twanmoh has a Helton approach to politics. I will just keep running until I win (or die) and if I can’t win maybe my spouse can. I think Fallston and Abingdon want a Republican. Kevin’s connection to Willy Don will help him with the dems. If Kevin gets past the primary he will definitely send a mailer to all registered dems with a huge endorsement from the Comptroller. That will carry a lot of weight with dems on the fence. I stick by this for almost every race in the county (except 34A); any Republican primary winner will win the general election. We have that luxury here for at least another 4-8 years. The political future in Harford County depends on how many make it through this election from the GOBN and the political makeup of the BRAC folks. If the GOBN makes it through again we will be weaker as a party in 4 years. That is my humble opinion.

Thanks to Ferrets are Tasty for the kind words and the help, I appreciate it. (No anonymous, it wasn’t me– I’m actually still working on the site and hadn’t wanted to release it yet!)
I’ve been listening to Socartes and haven’t been posting, but I do check the site and would like to thank GOPoperative for his work on increasing public debate in Harford County- you’ll find that this is one of my biggest issues, and I think it does more to benefit the county than the idle chatter some might call it. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Brian. I like what I am hearing so you keep up the good work yourself. Sorry I went after your boss but I felt it was necessary. I was forwarded your announcement email a few weeks ago and was going to wait to link your site. Ferrets are Tasty outed you. You fit the profile of what I am seeking for the future of the GOP in Harford County.

Roni Chenowith’s comments about Harford County Tourism in today’s Aegis were totally uncalled for. Why must she publically attack or shed doubt about a person that she most likely hardly even knows. I am begining to feel that a change in the district B seat would be very welcome indeed.

UGH! I cannot understand how the folks in Fallston and Abingdon could possibly vote for Chenoweth. Her only forte is crocodile tears. She has proven herself to me personally on multiple occasions to be an accomplished phoney. One of the reasons I kind of support county wide elections is just so I could vote for her replacement. Some new blood is definitely in order- Kevin Kane is looking good!
