A little high for Craig and Boniface, low for Bob and Bane. Otherwise pretty reasonable predictions.

I would agree except I think Cardin will win 53 to 47.

I’d say your 11 for 11. Will you be doing live updates of results like you did for the primary?

I’d have to agree with your assessment. Unfortunately, it may take some time for the counting of the absentee ballots and the disposal of the expected legal challenges.

I totally agree with your predictions of who will win. I believe your percentages will be off some what. Time will tell.

If Ehrlich wins, I will be elated, but he hasn’t been shown leading in 1 poll to date. That’s a bad sign. The last polls showed the Dems slightly rebounding but still w/in the margin of error on all but 1 Senate poll.

    District A,
I will probably do an update before I go to bed tonight. The Harford County Board of Elections website has impressed me. It is up to the minute. I will post the results as soon as I get them and then have some commentary.

I would venture to say that your predictions are very optimistic!

I’ll look forward to seeing it again. Thank you.

Is there a reliable state side similiar to that of Harford County? Thanks

    Harford County- http://www.harfordcountymd.gov

    Maryland- http://aomol.net/msa/mdmanual/42electg/html/2006/2006.html

I think we can access returns at these sites late tonight.

I hope David Craig’s staff is absolutely scrambling for an explanation as to why he almost lost to Ann Helton. He can’t use the Iraq explanation for this race. After all, Bob Ehrlich won this county 63% to 36%, and Brash Billy B won 66% to 34%. Craig should’ve won by AT LEAST as much. Barry Glassman and Terry Hanley have to be salivating right now.

    To: …To a HELTON?!?!

You are correct. The Dem “wave” passed right over Harford. We are just too darn red. Craig was weak in the race, because he is just that: weak. Craigs staff can come up with any explanations they want, but it is an established fact now- he is a very weak politician. The numbers are the numbers.

Beside the obvious choices, Hanley and Glassman, I wonder who else might consider a primary run against him in 4? Heck, JB Jennings is moving into Harford’s District 7 corridor. Any of these guys would clean his clock.

Terry Hanley helped out David Carey in his run against Susan McComas. Has anyone actually SEEN Terry? I find it unusual that the Republican Mayor of Bel Air didn’t show up at a single campaign event…

  • 16 NorthernGOPer // Nov 12, 2006 at 8:18 pm

    To: Me

Terry Hanley is hiding- and well should.

He backed Rob Wagner in that primary race and David Carey in his general against McComas. He screwed up big time times 2. He keeps trying to clear a path for higher office- but his ego exceeds his capabilities. He cut a deal with Wagner- his help for his seat in 4. This failed. He then backed Carey hoping that if Carey won, as a Republican, he could knock him out in 4. This failed. What is he going to try next? Abduct Senator Hooper?!?! It is all so sad…

The way Hanley is going, he should just be glad no one goes after his CURRENT seat. He is attracting negative attention.
