Is this the poll released this morning?

I hear he was found locked in a passionate embrace with John Kerry, attempting to console him…………….

Hopefully it is more substantial than the fact the race is in a dead heat. If it is something other than the poll, does it have more substance and fact than the rumor last year about O’Scary and the reporter? Let us not forget how well that one played out…….
I have heard NOTHING, so I am curious as to just what this may be.

Hey, maybe Mr. Norris is going to finally tell the truth about O’Scary’s frolics when they went to New York!
Let’s see his father-in-law try to cover that one up!

I have heard a whole bunch of stuff so I too am curious. It could be a lot of hype but I think there will be a bomb shell or two very soon.

I know, I know- this is a local Republican blog and I stand accused of being a hideous “liberal”, but on this topic I have to say that it is too bad that anyone hopes for a nasty rumor to effect an important election- on either side. Kind of like the **** that has been posted on this web about Bob Hooper and Donna Stifler? OH BOY! OH BOY!

Ok guys and girls, hold onto your seats….here it is……Martin O’Malley went trick o’ treating the other night…..pass it on.

In light of the recent story in the Sun about the race tightening, it would not be smart to release anything at this juncture. It would cut into the momentum. The bomb shell needs to wait as long as possible to leave the little boy mayor scrambling to salvage an already-abysmal reputation.

o’malley will be toast

There are at least two bombs to be dropped on Mad Marty. Whether both will be deployed is still unclear. One finishes Marty in this race, both would destroy him forevermore.

Hey guys, you got me almost rolling on the floor over some of the comments. I do hope that O’Malley does NOT get in office. Granted Bob has his flaws, but, as told to me by a Baltimorean, the Baltimore school system is the worst it has ever been. And, does anyone remember the time when O’Malley snapped Channel 13 news. I can’t remember exactly what the situation was, but he needs to keep a better composure when in front of the cameras.

I have never posted here before but seeing all the illegal Helton signs in my neighborhood this morning made me very upset. I will be taking them down tonight. If any Helton supporters read this blog, please stop littering my neighborhood with your trash.

bring on your sleaze.
18 BullElephant // Nov 3, 2006 at 6:17 pm
Illegal signs are everywhere. There seems to be no policing of these things.
On another topic I want to take a poll to see who is sick of phone polls. Make it stop.

While we’re all waiting with bated breath, I have to wonder what could possibly be revealed that we don’t already know. The boy mayor’s previous indiscretions are already legend and yet the local media simply yawns.
Even if he had been convicted of a drunken homosexual human sacrifice while smoking in a library, would the Dems even care? Would the Sun even be able to call it a crime or would they treat it as some wonderful new diversity-meets-the-city-that-reads experiment? Nah. Believe, hon.
20 Reagan Conservative // Nov 4, 2006 at 10:53 am
Where are the true Conservatives? They certainly don’t engage in this kind of disgusting Clintonesque politics of personal destruction. Shame of you. The GOP party of Reagan is dead.

Independant Educator says that the postings regarding Senator Hooper are ****. What is the basis for the statement in light of the overwhelming evidence of molestation? What facts do you have to defend this man? When Hooper’s own son, a judge and a psychiatrist confirm the abuse of these poor children, I think a prima facie case has been made out and it is incumbent upon you to come back with evidence that it did not happen. Otherwise, you should be working hard to see this matter to justice. Only NAMBLA could continue to defend Senator Hooper.
22 independent educator // Nov 4, 2006 at 8:29 pm
I am neither defending nor convicting Sen. Hooper. I still believe in due process and every citizen’s right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty (that is why I have deep concerns regarding the Military Commissions Act). Hooper was never convicted. He never had the opportunity to defend himself. Who elected you judge and jury, Cursing? Do you believe everything you read in the AEGIS? I find it reprehensible that so many people on both sides engage in this type of political muck raking. Let’s make every effort to personally destroy people who are running for elected office in order to have OUR candidate elected- all in the name of our superior morality. How ironic! This is what is wrong with politics today. It is one of the reasons why many good people who would be excellent leadership material do not run for elected office- the sleaze factor. I put the Hooper deal in the same garbage bin as the O’ Malley DUI, the Kerry swift boat crapola and the Bush AWOL stink. If you want me to vote for your candidate how bout telling me where s/he stands on the issues?
I operate under the assumption that most if not all of candidates endure this ugliness because they truly want to serve our community. I think they all deserve our respect- even if we do not agree on the issues.
23 Jack // Nov 4, 2006 at 8:51 pm
Cursing…,
I think I was the one who said that. What overwhelming evidence? I have never heard that his son confirmed anything. My main point before was that if people are truly concerned about those “poor” children, why does this issue only come up at election time? I don’t know what your beef is with Bobby, but I truly doubt the sincerity of your concern based on your timing. If this man is as creepy as you say he is, then you should have been out there in between the election years and on the Senate floor demanding charges brought against this man. I am sure the dems that control the senate would be more than happy to help you smear and get rid of another republican.
24 independent educator // Nov 4, 2006 at 9:47 pm
Cursing,
Out of idle curiousity I looked up the acronym NAMBLA. Perhaps the fact that you even knew of this obscure organization should give us pause in considering your opinion. Or would you prefer not to be judged on that basis?
25 Cursing the Big Tent // Nov 5, 2006 at 5:08 pm
Nice try, fellows. I knew it would get personal, but notice that each time you ask questions about the proof, it is spoon fed you and then you personally attack me. That is a classic debating trap, an ad hominen attack, where the debater cannot argue facts, that I am not going to fall into. I have seen many examples of politicos thinking it is more important keeping their buddy in office and than doing the right thing. I will not personally attack you and will not get sidetracked here. I have been active for many years in politics, but stepped back because I had to deal with people such as yourself that refuse to acknowledge that there are persons in positions of trust that do bad things and should be called to account for it. Jack, as to your statement that Hooper’s son did not admit daddy was the perpetrator, I refer you to the September 4, 2002 Aegis, quoting PA court documents filed by Hooper’s son. Father states that his children WERE sexually molested and he even believes that the perpetrator was Sen. Hooper.
You may also wish to peruse the August 30, 2002, September 11, 2002, September 13, 2002 and August 28, 2002 editions of the Aegis, among many others. Best wishes.

Here it is, Election Eve and these ” bombs ” on O’Scary have not materialized. He is not toast. His race is not finished, nor is he finished forevermore. So, let us hope that MD voters can finish his race tomorrow with a loss. The thought of him being gov scares me big time.
Best wishes to most Republican canidates tomorrow.
