I have found a way for people to become members of HarfordRepublican.com and to contribute articles as members. If there is something that you would like others to read and think about then write an article. I offered this before but there was no real way to do it. If you are interested, click on the REGISTER link in the right sidebar under the META section. All you need is a valid email address. Pick any nickname you like or use your real name, it’s up to you. After you subscribe, a password will be emailed to you within 24 hours. After you have your password all you need to do is log on and click “Write a post.” Once you finish your article click save and it is saved as a draft to be approved. This is different than a comment because it will be shown on the front page with you listed as the author and others will be able to comment on your article.

There are a few other political blogs that team blog. I was thinking about having an “open mic” Friday when I would approve any articles I received during the previous week (if any). This is just another way for people to get involved in the discussion. I look forward to receiving the first member and article written by one of you.
